Carrboro Raw- Your Neighborhood Juice Bar

I can’t tell you how many times I have walked by the Weaver Street Market and thought to myself, “I wish there was a juice bar around here.” Finally, my wish was granted when several months ago I noticed a cool, funky bus parked across the street from Weaver St. with a sign saying Carrboro Raw, smoothies, juices, green drinks.
Having a bus in the area dedicated to juice has special meaning for me. Although I have gained an appreciation for my husband’s decadent pallet, at heart, I am actually a naturalist when it comes to food. I used to live in Manhattan, and one of my favorite parts of living there was that I could pick up a juice on every street corner. I came to rely on my shots of wheat grass or vegetable juice in between dance classes and dates for a boost of energy. [ Read the full article ] »
