Author: While researching accommodations in St. Lucia, each property appeared lovelier than the next. However, the Fond Doux Holiday Plantation won our hearts!
The Fond Doux Holiday Plantation in Soufriere is a restored 1864 plantation home, on 135 hilly acres with 11 individual cottages set amongst lush, tropical gardens. Here is the good part- it is still a working plantation, and produces cocoa, citrus, banana, coconut and vegetables. Spelling it out, that means, King Foodie will be in his very own, “Garden of Eden,” surrounded by delicious edibles growing all around him- think Charlie and the Chocolate Factory!
Seriously, I feel relaxed, rejuvenated and refreshed just looking at the website.
