As usual, King Foodie has yet another surprise up his sleeve. I can’t stress enough what a wild ride it is living with this guy! I never know what I am going to get. This time, Joe has made the decision to end the pursuit of his culinary dreams working at his beloved restaurant. Instead, he will begin studying for the LSAT’s in preparation to attend law school.

Yup, I know a 180 degree shocker! Well, for those of us, such as myself, who know Joe well, this is actually not so far-fetched. Although Joe spent most of his young adult life steering away from academic career choices, favoring more alternative, risky pursuits, he has a “Jedi” mind, was a gifted student, and was raised by a family who valued education and achievement. Actually, a career such as this would have seemed like a likely option years ago, before personal exploration and self-discovery kicked in. Funny, how parts of yourself that have become buried, may be rediscovered due to emotional support, stability, desire to grow, and maturity.
